Book Design _ Expressive Typography
This book is designed with expressive typography, and no pictures. Each page is designed differently as the mood of the story changes. The cover is designed with the alphabet built with gears, borrowing from the steampunk style of the movie. The book retells the story of the Movie Hugo. Rewritten by the protagonist in the movie; Hugo's friend Isabelle. Printed on pearl finish paper, and french folded, this book is sized and set to imitate french books from the 1930s. The bookstand is built from wood, with the design of the capital H from the cover.
